Yes, the beaches are truly beautiful, but equally breathtaking are the rolling hills and bright and sunny wildflowers.  I’m moved to tears nearly every time I step outside during this time of year.  And, I’ve had several questions about pollen.  Yep- we’ve got pollen here too, pretty much all year ’round because something is always blooming.  But, I will admit, it isn’t the gigantic dump you all experience in Atlanta.  There aren’t sheets of yellow dust everywhere.  But, there is still sneezing and itchy eyes.  It’s worth it though.

<Sigh> It won’t be long until the flowers fade and the hill sides go back to their earthy brown.  But, for now at least, everything feels magical and new.
